Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I RESERVE YOU FOR MY WEDDING?

The best way to start is by emailing prettycanvasmakeup@gmail.com with your wedding details to receive a personalized quote. To prepare your quote, I require the following information:

  1. Your Full Name, Email, and Phone Number.
  2. Your permanent address and the location of services (getting-ready location).
  3. The total number of people requiring makeup and their roles.
  4. Whether you would like to book a Bridal Preview/Trial (highly recommended).
  5. The time you need to be ready by.
  6. The time of your first look or ceremony.
Once I receive those details, I will create an agreement. Once the agreement is signed, a deposit of approximately 25% is required to officially secure your date.
 

I do require a confirmed number of people and services at the time the agreement is signed to ensure proper scheduling. Please note that for Saturday weddings held between May and September, there is a minimum booking requirement of four people.

You can often add more services depending on my availability for that day. However, please keep in mind that once the agreement is signed, the number of services cannot be decreased below the initial commitment or the seasonal minimum.

A bridal makeup preview/trial is highly recommended and is the perfect way to ensure every detail is tailored to your vision—from natural to bold beauty—making for a stress-free experience on the big day. If a trial is not possible, we simply require more time on the wedding day at the regular booking price.

Yes, for all Saturday weddings occurring from May through September, there is a minimum booking requirement of four people.

Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis; however, bookings that do not meet the minimum requirement may be subject to a “small party fee” to secure the date.

Yes, a moderate travel time and mileage fee will be applied based on the location of your services. You will see that I quote once you provide the getting-ready location.

Absolutely! You can add a Touch-Up Kit to any service for $20.00. These include your specific lipstick color, powder, a sponge, blotting wipes, lash glue, and other essentials to keep your look perfect all night.

I specialize exclusively in makeup, but I am happy to suggest a preferred professional hairstylist to complete your bridal team.
